Accoyo Montoyo was one of the most significant Suri herdsires in the United States. He was a huge presence in the show ring and his genetics are still in great demand. Judges consistenty recognized Montoyo's typey head, presence, lock organization and density. Since then, they have echoed this same praise in rings nationwide in appreciation of his offspring. Montoyo's ability to replicate his positive qualities was paramount to his success, and he was truly successful. Our assessment of his offspring has been validated by judges at highly competitive shows. Fifty percent of his offspring have been shown, earning 130 awards, including 77 Grand, Reserve, 1st and 2nds. Of Montoyo's 74 offspring, 100% are Suri, 44% are colored, 25% are darker than their dams, and 16% are colored out of white dams.
